In vitro studies using human skin showed that clotrimazole did not permeate through the skin but accumulated significantly in the upper layers, suggesting that ufosomes could effectively enhance the localized delivery of the drug.

Despite promising results, the study has limitations, including the need for further research to confirm the findings through stability and pre-clinical studies before clinical application. Patients should be aware that while ufosomes may improve drug delivery, the current findings are preliminary.
