Overview

Cetirizine Hydrochloride Tablets USP 5 mg are an antihistamine used to temporarily relieve symptoms due to hay fever or other upper respiratory allergies. These symptoms include runny nose, sneezing, itchy or watery eyes, and itching of the nose or throat.

The label says not to use this product if you have ever had an allergic reaction to cetirizine, to any ingredient in the product, or to an antihistamine containing hydroxyzine. Ask a doctor before use if you have liver or kidney disease, and ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking tranquilizers or sedatives.
