Overview

My Way (levonorgestrel) 1.5 mg is an emergency contraceptive used to reduce the chance of pregnancy after unprotected sex or birth control failure. It is a backup method and should not be used as regular birth control.

It should be taken as soon as possible within 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected sex. The sooner it is taken, the better it may work.

This product will not work if you are already pregnant, and it does not protect against HIV/AIDS or other sexually transmitted diseases. Some medicines may make it less effective, including efavirenz, rifampin, and some seizure medicines.
