Baclofen tablets are a prescription muscle relaxant and antispastic medicine. The label says they are available as 5 mg, 10 mg, and 20 mg oral tablets.
Baclofen tablets are used to help relieve signs and symptoms of spasticity from multiple sclerosis, especially flexor spasms, pain, clonus, and muscle rigidity. The label also says they may be of some value in some people with spinal cord injuries and other spinal cord diseases.
The product is not indicated for skeletal muscle spasm from rheumatic disorders. The label says effectiveness has not been established for stroke, cerebral palsy, and Parkinson's disease.
Common side effects reported on the label include drowsiness, dizziness, weakness, and fatigue.
