In adults, famotidine tablets are also used for pathological hypersecretory conditions such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and multiple endocrine neoplasias, and to reduce the risk of duodenal ulcer recurrence. STORAGE AND HANDLING Famotidine Tablets USP, 20 mg are light yellow to yellow, round film-coated tablets debossed with ‘‘11‘’ on one side and ‘’plain’’ on the other side. Storage Store at 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F) [see USP Controlled Room Temperature]. Dispense in a USP tight, light-resistant container.
