Shipping Information

The Health Pals Company DBA Pill Pals is a fully licensed Clinical, Pharmacy, and Healthcare Organization with a nationwide network. 

Shipping is FREE for purchases with a minimum value of $4.99. The following limitations apply: 

  • STANDARD SHIPPING – In the Pharmacy Computer system, the default Service Type is “Standard”. This refers to the United States Postal Services (USPS) Ground Shipping, which takes approximately 3 business days. By default, “Delivery Confirmation” is included on all packages, and a tracking number is issued.
  • CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES – If we are shipping a Controlled Substance with Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Schedule II to you, “Adult Signature” is required by a human who is 18 years of age or older. Controlled Substances of DEA Schedule III to V do not require “Adult Signature” in most cases. However, there are cases where Pill Pals may require Adult Signature for Controlled Substances in DEA Schedule III to V, such as: 
    • Repetitive issues with theft and / or burglary at the Patient’s address or within the Patient’s neighborhood
    • High quantities of Controlled Substances being shipped to the Patient’s address, regardless of DEA Schedule
    • Neighborhoods with a high risk of harm to Delivery Drivers, Mail Personnel, or Couriers

In the situations listed above, Health Pals will contact the patient to inform them that “Adult Signature” will be required. Patient may receive an additional, separate invoice for $3.99 to cover the signature requirement with USPS.

  • HIGH VALUE PRODUCTS – Products valued at $500 or more will automatically require “Adult Signature” regardless of DEA or State Regulatory status.
  • DOMESTIC SHIPPING – All prescription drug shipments must be domestic in nature. As such, Company cannot ship prescription drugs to foreign countries, unless we have a Physical Location in that country. All prescription drug shipments must be made to the state(s) and/or territories of the country in which Company resides.   • PROCESSING TIMES – All Orders are processed (entered in and shipped out) within 2 business days (48 hours) of receipt. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. As such, weekends and holidays are not considered “business days”. For example, an order placed on Friday may not be shipped until Monday.
  • NOTIFICATIONS & TRACKING – Patients are to be notified that their shipment is on the way, as soon as possible. All Patients are required to have an email address for communication purposes, if they would like to be notified of their shipment. Shipping Notifications, which include the tracking / confirmation number, are sent to the Client’s email. The tracking / confirmation number will be active within 24 hours. We use various systems to notify you of your shipping status. This includes:
    • Online Order Portal
    • Pharmacy Computer System
    • Pharmacy Phone System
    • Pharmacy Email System

In addition, the Shipping Courier’s system may also send notifications, (e.g. USPS Informed Delivery or UPS)

As such, the Patient or Client may receive multiple emails. There is no way to stop this, as the Shipping Notification emails are triggered by certain actions in different systems, such as the Courier either receiving or delivering the package and Fulfillment Warehouse finalizing the Order.
